Hello Den Bosch! Our very first store is officially open! π©·
Yesss, itβs really happening! After weeks of counting down, renovating, and keeping everything a secret, we can finally share the news with you! We officially opened our very own store in the vibrant city center of Den Bosch! What started as a wild fantasy (and some seriously big dreaming) has finally become reality.
At the beginning of this year, Anne gave the entire team a special assignment. She asked each of us to write a "press release" about what we thought would be the ultimate Dutchies milestone of the year. Noor didnβt hesitate for a second and enthusiastically wrote an article about opening a pop-up store in the oh-so-cozy city of Den Bosch. And it wasnβt just Noor, the rest of the team wrote about big retail dreams too. But we never would have imagined that this specific newspaper article would actually become reality just a few months later!
From the moment everything was confirmed, the race against the clock began. We had exactly three weeks to transform an empty building into a true Dutchies dream. And wow, did the entire team work hard! There was painting, carrying, styling, decorating, and we did everything we could to get it all finished in time. And we actually did it!
Before opening our doors to you, we had a special moment just for ourselves on June 9th. We opened the store exclusively for the team and celebrated in true Dutchies style with a delicious pizza and prosecco party! Between slices of pizza, we put the finishing touches on everything to make sure the store looked absolutely perfect for the grand opening.
And then the big day finally arrived, Saturday, June 13th. The official opening of our store! We were bursting with excitement and nerves, but what happened next was beyond anything we could have dreamed of. An incredible number of people came to visit our store! We honestly couldnβt believe our eyes when we saw everyone lined up. It was one big celebration.
To make the day even more special, we handed out beautiful goodie bags to the first fifty customers, you could take the cutest photos in our photo booth, and we even had a nail studio in the store where you could get your nails completely glammed up. And of course, since we're located right in the heart of Den Bosch, delicious Bossche Bollen were served throughout the entire day!
